FAQ

  • What is car detailing?
Car detailing is a deep cleaning and restoration process that enhances your vehicle's appearance, both inside and out. It goes beyond a standard wash to ensure your car looks and feels like new.
  • Why is detailing important for my car?
Detailing protects your vehicle from environmental damage, maintains its resale value, and improves its overall aesthetics and comfort. Regular detailing helps extend the life of your car’s paint, interior, and other components.
  • How often should I get my car detailed?
This depends on your driving habits and environment, but a general recommendation is every 1-3 months to keep your car in top condition.
  • How is detailing different from a car wash?
A car wash is a quick surface clean which also leaves behinds marks on your paint that can only be taken out by polishing. While detailing involves restoring, deep cleaning, polishing, waxing, and protecting the vehicle’s surfaces inside and out, without leaving behind any damage.
  • How long does a full detail take?
It depends on the vehicle’s condition and the size of the vehicle. A full detail may take 2-4 hours, while a full detail, including paint correction, can take 4-6 hours or more.
  • Do I need to supply anything?
All that I need from you is an outdoor water faucet, a power socket, a place to park close to the vehicle (all less than 10m away if possible) , and of course your car's keys. Then I'll take care of the rest :)
  • If there is a service in a detailing package that I want to remove, or swap, can I do that?
Every car and owner is different, and I understand that. Which is why I can alter most detailing packages to suit your personal needs. This can be done over a call, email, or through messages, and the price can be discussed then. Please note: Some services in a detailing package cannot be taken out due to it being a step to achieve a beautiful end result. E.g cannot remove "Foam Cannon Wash" If you still need a "Clay Decontamination" or a "wax/sealant" Because its the first step in the line of processes.
  • How do I know if getting a detail is right for me?
There is a sure-fire way of knowing if car detailing is for you. If you find that the price is too high, then that means you don't fully understand the value in either the service or your car. I'm not going to stop you from going to a traditional $20 car wash, but trust me, you wont be gaining any value from going there, you'll only be losing it.
  • How much does car detailing cost?
Pricing depends on the size of the vehicle, the condition, and the services chosen. Contact us for a personalized quote!
  • How do I book a detailing service?
You can book by filling out the online booking form on this website, giving me a call, text, email, or DM me on social media to schedule an appointment.
  • What is the booking process?
Whether you call or massage me, I will get back to you as soon as I can. Once I do, the process is simple... If you already know what service/s you are needing we can go straight into finding a time which best suits you. If you are unsure, I can help you find what your car needs the most either by an in-person consultation, or by viewing videos of your vehicle sent by you. Please note: If you are after an in-person consultation, travel fees may apply which will be discussed before-hand.
  • What is the difference between "Paint Enhancement" and "Paint Correction"
Paint Enhancement is a single-stage polishing process designed to improve gloss and reduce light swirl marks caused by general use and/or traditional car washes. It’s ideal for vehicles in a decent condition that need a quick refresh. This service enhances shine but does not remove deeper scratches or oxidation. Paint Correction is a multi-stage polishing process that removes 70-80% swirl marks, scratches, oxidation, and other paint defects. It restores a near-perfect finish and is best for vehicles with moderate to heavy imperfections.
  • If I need Paint Correction, how come you won't remove 100% of scratches, defects, oxidization etc?
While paint correction greatly improves your car’s finish, achieving 100% defect removal isn’t always possible due to several factors. The main limitation is the thickness of the clear coat. Every vehicle has a limited amount of clear coat, and some scratches may be too deep to remove without compromising the integrity of the paint. If a scratch has gone beyond the clear coat and into the base coat or primer, polishing alone won’t be enough to fix it, and repainting may be required.
  • How long does the professional grade coating last?
The professional grade coating lasts up to three months, offering a noticeable level of gloss and hydrophobic ability. This depends on environmental conditions and how well the vehicle is maintained. The 1 Year Paint Protection Upgrade is a much stronger coating that offers higher levels of gloss and hydrophobes that keep your car clean for only $49 more.
  • What is clay decontamination?
Clay decontamination, also known as a clay bar treatment, is a process that removes embedded contaminants from a vehicle’s paint that regular washing cannot remove. Over time, road grime, brake dust, tree sap, and industrial fallout bond to the surface, making the paint feel rough and look dull. Using a specialized detailing clay bar with a lubricant, these contaminants are safely lifted from the surface, restoring smoothness and preparing the paint for polishing, waxing, or ceramic coating. This step enhances the vehicle’s finish and ensures better bonding for protective coatings.
